"A Night at the North Pole." The Downtown Invermere Light Up returns with some holiday festivities to get everyone into the Christmas spirit on November 17th, 2018! 
Santa and his elves are working hard to finalize plans for the 2018 event! Check back periodically for all the details!

View local window displays, participate in the Snowball AND Gumball Drop in Cenotaph Park, warm up by a fire pit on 7th Ave, sip hot chocolate, enjoy live music, watch the Santa Claus parade and much more!

2:30 PM - 4:30 PM-Quality Bakery Cookie Decorating

2:30 PM - 8:00 PM-Fire Pits and Treats on 7th Ave

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM-Children's Only "Gumball Drop"

3:00 PM-Adult's Only " Snowball Drop"

6:00 PM - 6:45 PM-Light Up Santa Claus Parade

6:45 PM - 8:00 PM-Light Up in the Cenotaph

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM-Mountain Hub Holiday Movie

After the parade there will be the Official Light Up where we turn on Invermere's downtown Christmas lights, followed by live music with duo Dos Equis

Snowball Drop Returns New and Improved for 2018!

Children’s only Gumball drop and Adults only Snowball Drop!

 The 2018 Snowball Drop will kick off with a children’s only “Gumball Drop” followed by an adults only “Snowball drop.”  Snowballs of savings will float down from the sky to waiting shoppers at 3:00 pm on November 17th, 2018. This event is free participate in. Community members are invited to gather at Cenotaph Park to catch gumballs ( colorful balls) and snowballs (ping pong balls) as they fall from the sky. Hundreds of ping-pong balls will be dropped from above! Each snowball will represent a specific discount, gift or prize from local businesses. THESE SAVINGS AND PRIZES ARE AMAZING!! I will not tell you what they are but I can promise you that you will be extremely happy!! Customers may redeem their snowballs for prizes and discounts at participating businesses and restaurants with corresponding numbers throughout the Columbia Valley. ONE GUMBALL/ PING PONG BALL PER PERSON!!  PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES: COMING SOON!
